PRIVATE BOAT CHARTER DAY TRIPS
We offer two special freediver day trips throughout the year. Blueback Freedive Private Boat Charter Day Trips take you to Wadjemup-Rottnest Island or to explore the Lena shipwreck off the Bunbury coast.
Each freedive day trip is $235 for early birds (bookings paid a minimum 4 weeks in advance), or $250 for the full day including adventure freediving, lunch and a freedive line-training / depth session. $270 for non-certified freedivers or snorkelers. Gear may be hired for your day trip - just let us know your gear sizes.
The day runs from either 7am to 2/2:30pm or 8am to 3/3:30pm, weather dependent.
The freedive depth session included in these adventures are the chance to do training with a freediving professional on a freediving training buoy in any discipline you like at one of the dive sites. It also gives you the chance to do training with a trained safety buddy on a float, as we'll set one or two safety buoys up at the dive sites we visit for people who want this option to practice skills and techniques and are certified to do so safely.
Freedive line training can offer you the opportunity to slow things down meaningfully, for equalization and technique refinement, when you train freediving in this way.
Familiarity with depth
is a game changer.
Giving yourself the time and opportunity to have some fun, safely exploring how you feel going deeper, either using the line, or just going one-up one-down with a buddy over reefs will start to add an exciting new dimension to your freediving.
Relaxation with depth is an inevitability once you give time to build your experiences!
All our open water diving is in buddies and with Best Practice Safety Guidelines in place. This diving is strictly for certified freedivers only. Never dive alone, learn the inherent risks of freediving and participate in a freediving course with a trained professional to become a safe and conscious freediver.

As a uniquely community-orientated freedive school based on the west coast of Australia, we enjoy bringing people together who can develop meaningful friendships. We value being uniquely placed to foster community connections, helping our Blueback Freedivers to expand their freedive network to enrich their lives not only with the health-enhancing freedive lifestyle and the safety aspects of buddy diving but also the mental health benefits of belonging to a connected community.
We travel to diverse West Australian locations for freediving, visiting and guiding our freedive community around our favourite freedive sites around Wadjemup-Rottnest Island, Jurien Bay, Banjelungup-Bremer Bay, Gnaraloo-Ningaloo Marine Park, Capes Ngari Marine Park, Coogee, Walyalup-Fremantle, Fitzgerald River National Park.
