Our freedive events give you access to holistic health practices for life, ongoing learning, an avenue for personal growth and development, as well as a friendly, local community of freedivers through the Blueback Freedive Community. Please Note: The Basic Freediver Course is run on the Wednesday and Friday as the foundational, pre-requisite training for the open-water depth freedive training in a Level 1 Freediver, or, in some cases including the Weekend Special Courses, on the Saturday only as a full day. Basic Freediver Students may book the depth training day to complete their Level 1 Freediver training at a later date.
The Basic Freediver qualification is the minimum training required to join any of our Blueback pool training programs, ocean adventures, local community freedives, camps and retreats.
