Join Blueback Freediving for a 6-night liveaboard expedition in Indonesia’s Komodo National Park, one of the world’s most biodiverse marine environments and a UNESCO World Heritage site. Sail from Labuan Bajo on a traditional Indonesian Phinisi and spend your days freediving, exploring coral gardens and relaxing on deck as the islands and turquoise bays drift by. Expect warm tropical waters, encounters with reef and oceanic mantas, turtles and vibrant reef life. This retreat is designed for certified freedivers (Level 1 freediving certification required) who want to deepen their connection with the ocean, build confidence in open water and share an immersive week with a small group of ocean-loving humans. You will be guided by professional freediving instructors, local sea captains and a marine biologist, with sites ranging from sheltered 2–10 m reefs through to deeper blue-water drop-offs around 30 m. Between sessions, there is plenty of time to rest, stretch, practice yoga, read a book or simply watch the sunset and flying foxes from the sundeck. Your trip fee includes 6 nights aboard the private charter vessel in ensuite cabins, 1 night twin-share hotel accommodation in Labuan Bajo, all guided freediving sessions, all boat excursions and Komodo National Park fees, plus three daily meals during the liveaboard.
