Blueback Freedivers' Squad One-Off Session

$70 per session

Drop into a single squad session in any 2026-2027 season:

  • Spring: September - November 2026

  • Summer: December 2026 - February 2027

  • Autumn: March - May 2027

The Squad One-Off Session is a single squad session for visiting freedivers, for first-timers who want to try the squad before committing to a pass, and for late bookings (within 7 days of the session).

Blueback Freedivers' Squad runs over three 10-week seasons (Spring, Summer and Autumn), with sessions on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, 5:15pm to 7:15pm (5:30pm to 7:30pm in Summer), at Claremont Pool. Pick any upcoming Tuesday or Thursday as you book: ideal for visiting freedivers, first-timers trying the squad, or the occasional drop-in.

Spaces are strictly limited. This page books a single session; no pass, no commitment. Bookings must be completed at least 12 hours before the start of your chosen squad session.

Enjoyed it and want to keep coming? The Casual Session Pass, 10-Class Pass and Season Pass all work out cheaper per session.

  • Train alongside a team of local safety-trained Blueback Freedivers.

  • Complete a 10-week program of development, improving your freedive skills and capability or train as a casual freediver to develop as time permits.

  • Dive in safe buddy pairs throughout, with best‑practice safety protocols and surface supervision.

  • Build confidence and knowledge, relaxation ability, energy-efficiency,
carbon dioxide tolerance, personal fitness, safety consciousness (internal and external) and buddy-attentiveness.
