What's the difference between 1-on-1 and 2-on-1?

1-on-1 is fully private ($1,430). 2-on-1 means you enrol with a training buddy at the same level and share the instructor ($1,230 per person). Training quality is identical; 2-on-1 adds a permanent buddy and brings the price down.

Do I need to bring my own 2-on-1 partner?

Ideally yes — a buddy at Advanced Freediver level. If you don't have one, ask us: we can sometimes match you with another Master candidate.

How is the course scheduled?

Personally. There's no fixed intake: you and your instructor build a session plan around your availability, the weather and your progression.

Do I need my own equipment?

Yes — full freediving setup, no hire at this level. By Master level most divers also want their own depth-rated computer; talk to us about what to look for.

What certification do I need to start?

PADI Advanced Freediver or an equivalent Level 2 certification from another agency, with proof of certification.

The summit of recreational freediving. The PADI Master Freediver course is delivered as personalised training — one or two freedivers matched to one instructor — for certified Advanced Freedivers ready to master technique, depth and self-knowledge.

Because the course runs 1-on-1 or 2-on-1, everything is built around you: session scheduling, depth goals, technique focus and the pace of progression. Studio, pool and open water sessions are arranged with your instructor rather than to a fixed intake calendar.

You'll need your PADI Advanced Freediver certification (or equivalent) to enrol. This is the deepest training we offer, and the most personal.
